So I have been spending some time braving colder temperatures to fish at one of my favorite places in the Ozarks.
The smallmouth have been eating up the swim baits and shad pattern jigs at the mouth of the Niangua river confluence at Bennett Spring.
As soon as the river warms the bass will move from the spring to the river to spawn. I will try and keep you updated as time permits
